Dangerously large sample size. I'm assuming you've counted 10 million minus 1 false assertions by DCP that he has never retracted?

It was a percentage, not actual times.

Sure I do.

There's no need -- Jesus is perfect.

Then if it's not based on that many instances it would be an inaccurate percentage as far as you know. A guess perhaps?

GoodK wrote:I assumed you attempted to shame me by sharing my posts with my Dad.

You assumed wrong.

GoodK wrote:I assumed you assumed the poor timing would reflect poorly on my character, and not your poor choice.

You assumed wrong.

GoodK wrote:And I assumed an email which you talked about me and referred to me in the third person was not sent directly by yourself to me.

It was sent primarily to your father.

I know him. I scarcely know you. I realize that you say that we've met, but I don't remember it and I wouldn't recognize you.

GoodK wrote:Please explain how adding the remaining nine letters of my name would accomplish this goal. You really think I would buy that, or are you just being coy?

Actually, I already thought the evidence incontrovertible. But I'm accustomed to you and others claiming that I lie, cover up, disingenuously spin, smear, and misrepresent, and even forge documents, so, mostly out of secure good humor, I offered to supply your entire name and e-mail address if that would be more persuasive.

Sorry you didn't find it funny. Baffled, but sadly unsurprised, that you choose to regard it as a malicious "threat."

GoodK wrote:I never called you a monster. How does every thread involving you somehow turn into a discussion about how everyone thinks you are a monster, evil, etc?

Oh come on. Just look at some of Rollo Tomasi's recent Miniscratch posts, in which he implicitly questions my honesty repeatedly. There are plenty of examples of this. And then there's poor antishock8 . . .

GoodK wrote:
Overwhelmingly, the people who actually know me pay no attention to this place. They've never heard of the Crime of the Century, nor of this board, nor of you.

I can say the same. You are a medium sized fish in a very, very small pond.

What is your point?

My point, which, as your irrelevant attempt to belittle me shows, escaped you completely, is that the reason my friends haven't shown up here to defend me -- something to which, you'll recall, you pointed as evidence that my position is wrong -- is that this is a place dominated by my enemies and critics but of which my friends are wholly unaware. Why aren't they here? They don't know that "here" exists.

GoodK wrote:rubbing my Dad's nose in an anonymous post about his sick daughter and trying to make me look like the one insensitive to the situation.

"Rubbing [your] Dad's nose" in something you wrote? I've quoted the entirety of what I sent to your father. You're unfairly mischaracterizing it, attempting to make up with your own rhetoric for the evidence that is conspicuously absent from my note.

As for "trying to make you look . . . insensitive to the situation," I said nothing in my very brief note to your father about any insensitivity on your part. Not a word.

I had no desire to portray you as "insensitive."

I have privileged access to my own motivations, and that played no part in them. I've explained my reason.

If you're going to insist that I'm lying about my reason for doing what I did, what point is there in my saying anything here?

An educated one. It was based on DCP's admitting to mixing up GoodK and Chap, which is the only time I can remember his admitting a mistake among the thousands of posts of his that I have read over the years.

I never said this made you a "monster" or "evil." Again, Dan's pulling out his 'martyr card.'

You're right, Dan -- this place has become extremely FUNNY.

The operative word being "often."
