I never intended to actually offend anyone or expected anyone would actually be offended as I felt that the "innocent" meaning was obvious, so I do regret that--not that it absolves me of guilt.

Double-entendre insults: so simple even a caveman (or an asbestosman) could do it.

I couldn't tell what you were up to, either, Ab; but I couldn't bring myself to believe it was sinister.

I believe Schryver is probably incorrigible.

abman, if I misjudged your intent, I'm sorry.

And yes, Will is incorrigible. And an idiot. :)

That was vulgar?

Nope, just a copy of Will's mocking dismissals. Unkind, yes. Vulgar, no.

What threads do these come from? Sound like fun reads.

Sigh.

On balance, I think this place is unsalvageable.

The first is from this very thread, a few pages back. The second is culled from KG's earlier KEP/Pundit thread.

Knock yourself out.

I'm actually thinking about doing a short case study on Will and am considering doing a side by side between him and some of the most vulgar critics to show the disparity that I think is there.
