Just so you understand Moniker, I perceive much of what you say about the things I hold sacred - the manner in which your beliefs and attitudes trivialize and banalize that which I hold sacred - to be abrasive in there own right, so that's probably why I respond in that manner on occasion.

Zion and Babylon are moving away from each other at ever increasing speed, and there is no compromise between their respective value systems.

I never really understood that so well until I began posting on boards such as this some ten years ago. To the secular world, the Gospel is crap. I find it a tad difficult to understand, however, why those of the world do not comprehend that the perception is mutual.

I think our society's views on sex have gotten very messed up. Some suggest that if we'd just talk about it more frankly and give it some air the mess will sort itself out. We've given it a lot of air. It hasn't sorted itself out. I don't think more air is the cure.

No, it advises people to get married so they can find the love only marriage brings and raise a family together.

Riiight, it advices them to get married in their early 20's... and they can't have sex outside of marriage so they rush into holy matrimony so they can do the deed.

I don't think I'm being cryptic. I'm talking about the mess that is sexual relations. We've dumped it out in the open and it's gotten worse. According to what I've read and seen people are sexually messed up. Prostitution, easy-access pornography, easy sexual liasons are not leading to stable family units (shown to be a huge indicator of the success of the children) and not even to emotionally satisfying sex. If you want to see a sideshow of horror regarding sex type in a sexual term into your local craigslist personals to find out what kind of messed-up desires and expectations people have. If you have a really strong stomach, search in the man searching for man section.

The early 20's is actually late to get married. Most societies have encouraged marriage in the mid-teens. If I wanted to rush into holy matrimony simply to have sex I would have been married years ago.
