Hi beastie. Did they disable linking from or to your site? Is that what you mean? Yeah, you could be right about the IP cross-check. I didn't think you were banned as beastie (last time I looked you were pundit material). Do you think they don't like your site?
It is strange to worry about what people do elsewhere on the Net but perhaps it is seen as a question of "loyalty" or disloyalty, for or against. I don't know. I still have access there although I haven't posted for quite a while. But I try to adhere to guidelines so as to maintain posting privileges. I don't have a site that could ruffle any feathers. Other than being an ex-member I can't really see myself as "anti" and don't think I am vocal enough to cause any alarm. I'm glad you found a way to at least view the board.
Yes, they disabled linking from my site. My site focuses only on the placement of the Book of Mormon in Mesoamerica, it's hardly a ranting "anti" site. But of course they don't like it, because the Mesoamerican setting is their last hope. I was somewhat taken aback by how closely they were monitoring it - they disabled the linking the same day I launched it.

I only have one server in my home. It's ok, I can view it through proxy servers. Just can't search, but I don't have a need for searching right now.
by the way, I think beastie is still current because I never post there, and they know I won't. They don't like banning pundits. But obviously they want to "punish" me anyway. What use is the beastie account if I can't even see the board, anyway?

Well, if it makes you feel any better I was banned because I kept calling Mr. Peterson "Mister" instead of "Doctor". I didn't feel it necessary to address him as such since I'm not in that field, I don't work with him in any manner nor am I in an associated field, and I felt "Mister" was as respectful as any other etiquette I might bestow upon him. Apparently the Mods didn't like it. I was out.
