Actually, I think "pissed" or "angry" as a definition of MAD would be more accurate than crazy.

The whole point about Daniel Peterson online is that he has:

(a) A PhD

(b) A job at a university above the level of untenured maid of all work.

All this means that his posts carry immense prestige for his faithful followers. This man is an intellectual - and he still believes! So if there is anything that troubles you, if a real PhD carrying professor can hack it, you can relax!

The first point above means, in MAD terms, that you have to call him 'Dr'; the second means you have to call him 'Professor'. Of course if the MADites were based in Germany, they would probably insist on you calling him 'Herr Professor Dr. Peterson".

Try DCP. He doesn't seem to mind.

Well, I was always taught that if one doesn't have respect for themselves then why should anyone else and IMHO if MR/DR Peterson would like to be called Dr then his name should NOT by ALL MEAN be MR. Peterson.

IT SHOULD BE DR. PETERSON.

They cannot ban a person for assuming someone is a Mr especially if their name states so. Was their even a request made to suggest that he should be called Doctor and not Mister?

Ok, we all know DCP is a Dr, but he set himself up to be a Mr by being names Mr. Peterson.

I call him Daniel. He calls me harmony. I only call him "Mr" Peterson when he's said something that I think is unusually off the map. He ignores me when I'm off the map.
