OK, step back and think about it for a second. Mormon apologetics has been reduced, or at least gotten to the point of having to argue (read fog) about the diameter of a roll for missing pieces, while on the other hand they are also arguing that the Book of Abraham is just a catalyst for an inspired translation because when pressed, the translations don't match.
Which is it....do they need the however long missing pieces to do a translation or did Joseph not really need anything because it was just inspired?
