The committee's Democrats attempted no response. They know that they are largely responsible for the current high price of gasoline, and they want the price to rise even further. Consequently, they have no intention of permitting the development of domestic oil and gas reserves that would both increase this country's energy independence and give consumers a break from constantly increasing energy costs.

Because my son is due to be deployed in March. That's reason enough for me. And I never said I was voting for Obama. I said I would vote for whoever promises to end the war as quickly as possible.

And I want whoever is going to bring down the price of gas.

Sounds like McCain is your best bet. You wouldn't want your son's service to be in vain.

I don't want my son coming home in a casket. And if there is no war, then he isn't deployed.

He's got more of a chance dying here of all causes than dying in combat. There is no viable candidate promising to lose the war.

Yes I do. The death rate in Iraq is lower than the death rate for the general population of the US.

Even NObama will not risk losing the war. He's already backing away from his promises preferring instead to drawn just as the Bush administration would and claim the victory for his own.
