Holocaust denial?
That's not quite on the same level as Bigfoot or Atlantis, Dude. That's more along the lines of the moon landing being staged.

MOD Warning! Do not use the words Daniel, Krispy Kremes and fantasy in the same post. This is not the place for sex threads.
If you have other good material on apologist-crackpots, please let me know.

I just noticed how on the other thread you wanted to differentiate between 9/11 and moon landing conspiracy theories vs alien abduction and the loch ness monster, with the implication that conspiracy theories are categorically different. Here again you say they are different. I'm going on record as disagreeing with you. They all count as crackpot ideas in my book, because their proponents share fundamentally similar ways of grabbing at flimsy evidence.

DCP believes in holocaust denial? I find that hard to believe. Can someone point me to where he said something to justify that?
Mormonism ceased being a compelling topic for me when I finally came to terms with its transformation from a personality cult into a combination of a real estate company, a SuperPac, and Westboro Baptist Church. - Kishkumen
Given his interests in things some would call "occult" in nature, Kerry Shirts seems to be an appropriate addition.

What about Steven E. Jones? I don't think he's an apologist, but he was a BYU professor.

Still waiting for Will to back this up...

Well, this list is reserved for apologists, but he would certainly fit on a broader list of Mormon crackpots.

Strictly speaking, DCP believes the Nazi holocaust happened but he is willing to smear peripheral ideologies (Darwinism) as causal to the holocaust, which reveals a shameful streak of opportunism in him and performs a disservice to both the Nazi's victims and to those who are building upon Darwin's insights. He did this under the guise of academic freedom and suggested that people who took offense (me, Tarski, etc.) might be closer to Nazis than they realize.
What any of this has to do with holocaust denial comes from the last part of a review of Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed. Maybe it will help you see what I mean.
