Dan, I apologize.

(see, it's not that hard)

Then I apologize, too.

If you can apologize for inflicting non-existent injuries, there's no reason why I can't.

While I'm at it, I also apologize for assassinating Winston Churchill, for my poor direction of the most recent Star Wars movies, for engineering the Yankees' move to Omaha, and for preventing Barack Obama's nomination for the presidency.

Darn. Dan is still clueless. Oh, well, I tried.

Also "dense," I believe.

Which lays the basis, I think, for a diminished-capacity defense.

Trolled? I can so do that. Where should I start? Should I act like I'm interested in the topic (a.k.a. gossip) or just come in hurling F-bombs and stuff?

I am going to go out on a wild limb and guess that they're really not interested in either, and crocket was full of baloney in his huffery and puffery to skippy, and was just one more tired version of his endless quest to bully critics of the church into silence.

Yes. The irony is sweet. I saw Mr. Crockett's recent comments as an attempt to bully me, his attempts to intimidate Skippy planted the idea in my head, so I did what I thought was the most effective way to thwart his efforts. It seems to have worked. And it seems very appropriate. I don't imagine the Bar will give a crap about it, but I do imagine Bob will give a crap about the Bar reading the complaint. That is the point.

DCP,

You didn't hurt my feelings, you hurt the relationship between me and my dad. You are not the only one to have contributed to that damage, but I wanted to correct your assertion that things were fine. Feel free to talk it over with him. But there isn't much more for us to say to each other, here.

If any good could come from this, I think it would be to change things in the dirty realm of Mormon apologetics. Don't allow submissions that are reviews of authors and critics personal lives in an attempt to color them as "anti-Mormons."
Contribute to an effort to change the FARMS review of authors back into something that vaguely resembles it's title. That's all I would ask from Dr. Peterson.

My dad is responsible for his fundamentalist approach to Mormonism, Creationism, conservatism, and religion. But I feel like a war has been declared against "anti-mormons" by Mormon apologists, and now he clearly considers me an anti-Mormon and an "enemy." I am sure that FARMS and FAIR has a lot to do with that.

More evidence, in my opinion, that religion really does poison everything.

The sheer volume of drama, animosity, butthurt, and fail coming out of Dan "The Douche" Peterson, Bob "The Knob" Crockett, and "Ow, my butthurts" GoodK in this thread is hilarious. Seriously, this thread should be enshrined for posterity so future generations can see what trolling douchebaggery and butthurt drama looks like.

Clever. I really think your time might be better spent writing comedy. You know... I see Bill Bellamy at the gym from time to time. He's a really nice guy. If you want, I can talk to him and see if I can get you an audition for his show. Let me know.

That's rather different than what you've told me before, and quite different from what your father has told me.

That there has been damage over the past month, though, doesn't surprise me a bit. I regret it, but I didn't cause it.

I deny that the realm of Mormon apologetics is "dirty," and I deny your characterization of the FARMS Review. It's false, and dramatically so.

I doubt that, very much.

I'd like to see the same thing. The irony is, the FARMSboys don't realize their methods turn off so many TBM's (and causes others to question their faith, which never would have happened but for FARMS's and other apologists' 'attack the messenger, ignore the message' philosophy).

Do it. Bricks will be shat and much lulz will be had.

Hey, at least I'm not the one that's feeding the MoTrolls be posting about how I'm going to take legal action over a private matter. Seriously, could you be any more of a butthurt, bitchy troll-enabler? I don't think you've quite given them enough personal dirt to mock you with yet. Face it, you tried to play internet toughguy/lawyer and got your ass MoTrolled hard for your trouble. So don't get pissy with me because you screwed up, blame your own overly dramatic self for taking what should have remained a private matter and making it a public one.

You need to turn your life around and not get so upset when somebody comments upon your sorry posts. Just a thought.

Do it? You told the wrong person, son. I am THE master of demolishing threads! I can totally destroy this thread into Telestial territory in oh, under 15 minutes or so, allowing time for just blankly staring at the screen.

All in favor of thread demolition, say "aye".

by the way, while people are voting their conscience, would you mind telling me...what is lulz?
