Kerry's vids
Jersey,
Personally I think those were the very best Kerry videos I have ever seen. All of the others were in apologetic mode--using little bits from other scholars to attempt to show why the "critics" are wrong. I have never found them very persuasive. With these videos, which I think are potentially aimed at anyone who is a truth seeker, he really caught may attention. I have poked a little fun at Kerry, but give me a Kerry any day of the week over 95% of his co-religionists on these boards any day. He's a decent, intelligent, and interesting fellow.

Most educated, intellectually engaged apologists don't find much of what you assert in this forum particularly persuasive either, at least beyond your continual assertions that you are persuasive.
Well, at least we know what you think of your own arguments and views.

Do you by any chance, think you could (for a single second) take a breather from the characterizations of people and get on topic? The topic is a review of 3 Kerry Shirts videos.
Just a reminder.

Are you personally offended that I generally don't find Kerry's videos persuasive?

Anyway, thanks for taking the time to post this bit about those three Kerry videos. I was quite impressed with what he had to say in them. What I will always appreciate as a former student of Hugh Nibley was the man's expansive vision. It is clear to me that Kerry has picked up on that. He is an open-minded fellow, and thus more likely, outside of apologetic mode, to say things that I find interesting. I regularly traffic his backyard professor blog, and I find it to be quite fun.

Jersey Girl:
Proly better for another thread but really, .. doesn't that pretty much sum up Mormonism as a whole ?
He gives a description of his recent visit to a Deseret Book Store...
"1 shelf of really good references on the Scriptures"
"13 Shelves of crafty crap and junk for sale"
"6 shelves of LDS novels"
Proly better for another thread but really, .. doesn't that pretty much sum up Mormonism as a whole ?

Nope.

While Kerry Shirts may not have come out with that exact statement, the many paths idea could easily be inferred. It is my guess that this interpretation would naturally fit with what he had to say throughout these three videos.
