I think it might have been a different list Beastie. I think Skinny-L is pretty selective and recruites only the die hards. To be honest, I'd be surprised if there are any women on Skinny-L as I believe it's reminiscent of a male locker room.

And you base your belief on . . . what, exactly?

I have a pretty good sense for who's on Skinny-L -- it's not that large a group -- and, well, you're not. And neither, for that matter, is Scratch.

Once again, my PM box has practically been exploding with fascinating tidbits. This latest comes from one of my most reliable sources.

I wonder if we'll ever know who "Deep Throat" really is?

Many here are no doubt familiar with the convoluted money trail which is used to finance LDS apologetics.

No, actually I'm not, as no such thing has ever been even remotely demonstrated. Could you go over that again, I must have missed something...

Do you remember this dust-up from Z, Gad? I wish I could remember enough details to search for it, but I can't (and Z's search engine sucks).
We hate to seem like we don’t trust every nut with a story, but there’s evidence we can point to, and dance while shouting taunting phrases.

I'm not on Skinny-L? I don't think you know that for certain.

Anyway, would it hurt to tell us what percentage of Skinny-L membership is constituted by women?

I think I know pretty much everybody who's on it, and you don't seem to be one of them.

Historically, I think there have been two. That would be roughly ten to fifteen percent of the list. One asked to be dropped from the list, as she was getting too many e-mails and didn't want to be bothered. The other is still there, I believe, but hasn't posted for a while.

And no, Juliann Reynolds has never been on Skinny-L.

Well, thank goodness for small favors.

Maybe I'm dense (okay, I probably am), but what's the big deal about an organization employing a point person for fundraising? Seems logical to me.

You don't understand, skippy. If you have something called an "organization" that is funded with "money" that came from "somewhere" that "someone" had to get, it is definitely a conspiracy. Dark business is afoot. ;-)
