You've never experienced it and therefore it is laughable.
That isn't why it is laughable.
How exactly would you prefer God dictate books to people?

His purposes would be better served if stopped with the book business all together. With all of the hundreds of books that he has produced, he can't seem to present a consistent message from one book to the next. His book endeavours have resulted in a lot of confusion among his followers. Unless of course his purpose is to create confusion.

Yeah, well, he has made it clear that unless you get the whole Holy Ghost thing his books will be unclear to the reader. Complaining that confusion resulted among some is like complaining to a pharmaceuticals company that pain medicine made you drowsy when it was printed on the bottle.

I never said the books were "unclear". I said he produced books that were inconsistent. For example, in the Quran he said that Jesus is not his son. In the Matthew he said that Jesus was his son.
He never said anything to Muhammed about the Holy Ghost being needed to interpret the Quran. Well, nothing in the books anyway.

If the pharmaceutical company put conflicting labels on the same medicine then the complaint is valid.

Really? Why not?
EDIT: Oh, I forgot. You and your book are special.

What book did I claim God wrote? I don't think he's written any.

If by "written" you are going to split hairs and demand that I find where you said god sat down with a writing utencil and wrote the books himself, then my answer would be that you did not.
What part did god play in the production of the Book of Mormon? What part did god play in the production of the Quran?

He inspired both to varying degrees.
