You're not a Canadian who served in England by any chance are you?

No. Why? Is England a dead zone for Canadians feeling "the spirit"?

I don't see any official doctrine anywhere. We don't even have a doctrine of infallibility about a book translated through the power of God. I'm not sure where we're going to find it outside of that if it doesn't qualify.
I am also anti-creed so I don't want to see any come out.
There are doctrines you can't pull out without destroying the Gospel. Things like the Atonement of Christ but I still don't see it as 'official doctrine'.
How can a church not have official doctrine? This flies in the face of the news thing that BC talks up-his siggy you know. I think you are off your rocker on this one.

No, you just remind me of a missionary there. Just had to ask.

Really? You know next to nothing about me. What is it exactly about my posts here that gave you even the slightest notion that I was him?

He said the same thing about being able to feel the Holy Ghost. It was a shot in the dark. Sorry if the question offended you.

How did his lack of feeling the HG affect him as an LDS missionary? Did he stay on the mission. Is he still a member? On a couple of occasions I had feelings that I would descibe as feeling like what people say the HG feels like, but these scenarios were pure fabrications.

He didn't do well. He stayed on his mission at least till I left. I have no idea if he's still a member. If I had to guess, I doubt it.
