Peterson is lying, yet AGAIN!

Post by _Trevor »

On another thread in this forum, Daniel Peterson, eater of the occasional donut, tried to put this one past us:

Daniel Peterson wrote:Incidentally, two more unbelievably damning Skinny-L posts have just arrived here at MDB, supplied by an anonymous informant from one of his dossiers:

Quote:
I don't agree with Jerald and Sandra Tanner's take on Mormonism, which I think is wrong.

and, if it can be imagined, a post that is even more vicious and even more appalling:

Quote:
Hey, I hear that Sandra's mother wore army boots!

Desperately yours,

William J. Hamblin, Ph.D.

SKINNY & MMM

And they have the nerve to say that Skinny-L is only about knitting and herbal teas!

Personally, I don't know whether I am buying that he has shared actual messages from skinny-l. Based on what I have learned in this very forum, a real exchange from skinny-l would have to look something like this:

Hey, Bill, I just got done stomping on the flowers in front of the Grant Palmer's house. Man, that felt good. His wife came out of the house crying, begging me to stop, but I just spit on the crumpled flowers and laughed in her face. She deserved that. After all, she married that lying anti-Mormon scum Grant the "Insider."

Word up, Damage! Good thing you didn't invite Big Louie, cuz that guy's been achin' to bully some apostate wench. Has been ever since the Tanner store thing. Are you ready to plan our pumpkin stomp for this Halloween? I have been gathering up the personal information (or, rather, our friends at the SCMC have) for all of the waste-oid losers posting on "Un-Recoverable" and Shady Acres who live in SLC or Happy Valley so we can stomp to our hearts' delight. Then we'll turn in printouts of their posts to their stake presidents and get rid of all that moaning in one swipe!

I must say I was surprised by the last message:

You go, blokes!!! It's high time you taught the scurvy lot a lesson! Wish I could hop the pond to stomp gourds with you!!!

Now, if that isn't what they have been saying over at skinny-l, well by damn they must be saying something like it. It enrages me to no end that Daniel refuses to own up to this. That sneaky...

It can't be that obvious, can it?

I think there were just too many nifty watershed moments in Mopologetics for me to continue to feel left out and not do anything about it.

I can only hope that Scratch doesn't find out that I'm on the Skinny-L and have been for years.

What's your handle there? Mine is Apostastomper. I just loved that Russell Crow movie.

Due to a series of unfortunate events, I had to abandon my long time handle: Itchy. You can catch me on the Skinny-L under the moniker: KickinAntiButt, but I swear if you divulge any of my messages, I'll get Daniel to lie about it.

I have connections, ya know.

Trevor had quite clearly "lost it" long before he ever made his first post here.

He's just another ticky tacky cookie cutter anti-Mormon bomb thrower posing as an "intellectual".

Where's the beef?

I swear by my throat that your secret is safe with me Soror KickAntiButt. I will not divulge the secret before I spill my own guts on the pavement, in accordance with the oaths we swore last May Day at midnight on Brigham's grave.
