This is interesting. The Book of Mormon does indeed prophecy that the Gentiles of the last days, if they do not repent, will be trodden under the feet of the descendants of the Lamanites. The remnant of the tribe of Joseph will be like a Lion among Lambs, with "none to deliver".

Call me what you like. Grew up in Texas and visited a lot with the SoCal and New Mexico side of the family as well, some of whom still live on Land Grant ranches passed down from when they were given before the US was an independant nation.

The wall around East Berlin was not to keep West Germans out (nobody in there right mind wanted to live in East Germany), but to keep its own population in, which, at the time, was coming perilously close to draining the country of brain power and manpower.

Isn't the land being referred to in that Passage, Referring to just the area of Mesoamerica? Isn't the area of Mesoamerica the official doctrine of FARMS And FAIR, for where the Book of Mormon events took place? I thought and believed that the area of Mesoamerica was indeed the land of Promise, according to the Book of Mormon.
