Now THAT deserves a thorough Scratchoscopy!

As much as it pains me to say it, I think Vince Bugliosi has cleared you of any involvement on that score. For now.

However, I think your potential ties to the Bush Administration need to be more fully explored.

Does Peterson lack lunch money?

Or was some clerical mistake made that inadvertently doubled his lunch money allowance?

So what are you, personally, doing to reverse that trend? Or do you expect everyone else to make the changes for you?

(Remember, always remember, that you must be the change you wish to see at MormonDiscussions.com.)

(Paraphrasing a famous ex-President, "Ask not what MormonDiscussions can do for you. Ask what you can do for MormonDiscussions.)

I was referring to the Terrestrial forum rather than the entire site and mainly to the active posts that night. The night I posted the thread, it seemed that most every thread I clicked on was like when my two young children argue all day. What should I personally have done to reverse the trend? Maybe I should have just sent everyone to bed. : ) Then, DCP chimes in like the third child pointing his finger at the other two.

Just having a bit of fun. Don't you like fun?

Look. With all due respect to Shades, whom I rather like, I personally have absolutely no investment in whether this board succeeds or not, or is substantive or not.

I don't wish it ill, particularly. I don't particularly care one way or another. And I don't intend to be a major factor here.

If you want it to be better, that's up to you and any like-minded folks who might participate on the board..

From my perspective, so long as Master Scartch and his disciples launch interminable campaigns of personal destruction and give vent to wild conspiratorial delusions here, and so long as there is a fairly sizeable contingent of juveniles posting here -- the groups overlap slightly, but are reasonably distinct -- the place will be roughly what it is. Very few serious people (and even fewer serious believing people) will choose to spend much time or energy here.

That's simply the way it is.

Oh, the irony.

in my opinion, the board is already successful regardless of who posts here, whether it is the wild conspiratorial delusionists or the believing conspiratorial delusionists. Freedom of speech is in place here for both or all camps.

Whatever. I thought you thought there wasn't enough substance here. But if you like this kind of place, this is the kind of place you'll like.
