That's it. You two are gone with the wind as well. - Uranus
We hate to seem like we don’t trust every nut with a story, but there’s evidence we can point to, and dance while shouting taunting phrases.

It's high time we heard from Uranus. Hopefully we will be hearing much more from Uranus from now on.
I've always thought that scatological humor is humor of the highest form.
God . . . "who mouths morals to other people and has none himself; who frowns upon crimes, yet commits them all; who created man without invitation, . . . and finally, with altogether divine obtuseness, invites this poor, abused slave to worship him ..."

That's why I suggested that it would be easier on both of us if you just let it go.
Please take Dr. Peteron's advice, beastie. And if I hear one word about how Dr. Peterson could let it go, as well, you will be cast out into the lowest bowels of outer darkness. - Uranus

You know it's serious when Uranus starts mentioning "the lowest bowels." Look out!
“I was hooked from the start,” Snoop Dogg said. “We talked about the purpose of life, played Mousetrap, and ate brownies. The kids thought it was off the hook, for real.”

Most kids will eventually learn for themselves that there is no Santa, Easter Bunny, Tooth Fairy, etc. All lies that parents tell their kids. Even without the help of classmates, an 8 year old will eventually connect the dots and figure it out.
Not so for religion.
Because Santa only brings presents, the Easter Bunny eggs, and the tooth fairy 50 cents. And none of them accuse you of being Korihor if you don't believe in them.

What sort of gullible kid gives their tooth to the tooth fairy for only 50 cents?
My oldest, Courtney, figured out at six that two dollars was a raw deal. She said to me, "I bet the tooth fairy takes all the teeth she gets and makes jewelry out of them. She probably sells it for lots of money and all I get from her is two dollars!" The next time she lost a tooth, Courtney decided to put a little note under her pillow that said "$5." She got five bucks for that tooth. Later, she figured five dollars wasn't enough, so she stopped selling them to the fairy altogether.
She may have been gullible enough to believe in the tooth fairy, but she wasn't gullible enough to be cheated by her.

I think alot of religious converts are probably gullible, or at least feel that they should join a religion because of social mores where "religions are good places to raise kids. Religions teach morality [assuming a given morality is good of course]. Perhaps they're not gullible as just following the group think rather than having the cajones to do as they might otherwise do [sleep in on Sunday] and just go on teaching their kids alone without using religion and God to legitimize the morals being taught.
If you're born into a religion and indoctrinated by mom and dad and gamgam you don't have a prayer. Gulliability has little to do with it until you get up to around 14-15 and start doing some real thinking.
