Well, then, feel free to give your corrections. Exactly how do you explain the fact that prophets and apostles, while functioning in those roles, supposedly under inspiration, in the name of JC, have, indeed, taught that Hill Cumorah is where the final scenes of the Book of Mormon took place? Or how do you explain JFSmith's statements in Doctrines of Salvation?
We hate to seem like we don’t trust every nut with a story, but there’s evidence we can point to, and dance while shouting taunting phrases.

I've already explained this several times over the past few days. Another repetition wouldn't make much difference, I suspect.
I'm starving for intellectual seriousness, so my wife and I are headed out for a movie.

Woah. I thought Mr. Peterson made himself clear earlier. Now he's saying that the NY site was not THE site where the final battle occurred, even though prophets made it clear that's the case.
Phew. Ok. Maybe a little clarification is order?

Yes, I know, your explanation was that no one will be excommunicated for teaching the two Cumorah theory, and it's not a doctrine. Who cares??? It's been taught, over and over, to people who actually think that when the prophet or apostles teach things about the church or scriptures over the pulpit, that they've been inspired to teach correct principles.
The natural conclusion is that the prophets and apostles who taught these things were simply wrong. I know your thin skin cannot tolerate my bluntness, but the natural result of your logic is that these men weren't really inspired at all in their teachings, despite trying their best to be.
by the way, my movie suggestion would be a fantasy flick. It's where you'll be most at home.

You're fat.
This may be the most hilarious series of sentences I've read all day. Oh, and I'm laughing at you not with you.

Where is the official revelation that hot drinks means coffee and tea? I could believe in 6 cumorahs and still go to the temple....not so if I partake of coffee.

Wait. This is absolutely crazy. Mormon PROPHETS have stated EXPLICITLY that THE hill Cumorah is THE hill Cumorah. And these guys are don't believe it. I'm blown away (no pun intended, Nehor). I don't get it. Seriously. How can these people disregard multiple prophetic assertions that THE hill Cumorah is THE hill Cumorah?

I already told you. It's not doctrine, it wasn't clearly labeled "revelation". Ignore at will.
I'd like to see any of these guys get up in sacrament meeting and explain how you get to ignore any prophetic teaching as long as it's not doctrine or identified as "revelation".
(and even revelation is no guarantee, didn't Joseph Smith say Zelph was revelation?)

Simple. They belong to a different religion. It's known as "Internet Mormonism."
