You mean droopy is a dillweed who just plucks things off of anti-gay websites without verifying the accuracy of the information???
I'm shocked, I tell ya, just shocked.

We hate to seem like we don’t trust every nut with a story, but there’s evidence we can point to, and dance while shouting taunting phrases.

I don't even understand why "choice" is really such a factor in the debate. If two consenting adults desire sexual relations why is anyone else all that concerned about it?
I think droopy is just a voyeur and likes to peek in bedrooms and make sure no kinkiness is being manifested. He probably wears a cape and tights while on these sexual morality policing raids.
He didn't even post a study... he posted a commentary on a study by someone who takes the reported data to indicate something very different from what the original researchers reported.
Oh, well, I must admit I didn't even read it.... :)
Months ago I stopped reading all the gobblygook Droopy/Coggins posted. There are posters here that will link to or post relevant material and I have no problem reading their material (maybe difficulty with comprehension, at times:), yet, I don't even bother, usually, with Droopy anymore.
Now, he's gonna hold this against me in the future. Yet, if he actually could make cohesive arguments instead of just posting things I'd probably take the time to read his material. Yet, as it stands, I have better things to do with my time.... :)
Again, as a commie pinko I think people can do whatever the hell they want to do as long as they don't infringe on others ability to do what they want to do. I don't care if it's genetic, choice, or alien infestation.

I guess that's the downside of being new here. I haven't learned to resist... or maybe I'm just not world-weary enough yet. :p
I agree that this debate is politically irrelevant: whether it is a choice or not has little impact in a secular society. It does, however, have significant religious consequences, particularly for Mormonism, which is why the apologists here have made it such a firm line in the sand.

You mean you should be. Only way to prevent gayness.

You'll figure it out.... :)

Well, I think the debate is probably important for religious considerations and even for political ones.

Thanks, Moniker.
for what it's worth, for anyone without access to a university library or other ways of reading the paper for the abstract EAllusion linked to, I downloaded a PDF copy. PM me and I'll send one to you (can you send files through PMs here, or only by email?).
