One more comment and then it's "time out" and nap time. I'll be the first to take a nap. Which includes a break from the forum and some serious self-reflection. I will not be lurking, either, on this or the other thread.

I don't think anyone here means anything of harm to come to anyone else, especially others on the forum. I'd like to think that in real life, if Dr. Peterson needed help moving and it was viable, Scratch would be there helping, and vice versa. I know for a fact that absolutely anyone I interact with is welcome to have a beer with me or a glass of water, and I'll buy, even if it's that VOX water that costs too much. If I really believe someone is a terrible person, I *stay away*, I do not take chances with bad people. So, now is my call for universal peace everywhere, and for everyone to recognize that we are all brothers and sisters who just want to be understood and accepted.

Thank you, and, good night for now.
Lou Midgley 08/20/2020: "...meat wad," and "cockroach" are pithy descriptions of human beings used by gemli? They were not fashioned by Professor Peterson.

LM 11/23/2018: one can explain away the soul of human beings...as...a Meat Unit, to use Professor Peterson's clever derogatory description of gemli's ideology.

I'll have a Toohey's Pils, thanks Gad.

In your professional opinion, did DCP's comment that the thought of me makes him was to get his "assault rifle" constitute a legally actionable utterance?

Am I being paid for this advice?

Did DCP pay you? I really am genuinely interested to hear what you think. After all, if Gadianton joking about FARMS fudging its taxes means that DCP and the rest of the FARMS people could totally strip away his livelihood, and completely crush his life...then does something far more grave, such as joking about "gutting" a person, or using lethal force against him, merit just as much seriousness, law-wise?

Good grief. It just keeps on coming.

Sometimes I honestly wonder if Mister Scratch isn't just putting us all on.
One moment in annihilation's waste,
one moment, of the well of life to taste-
The stars are setting and the caravan
starts for the dawn of nothing; Oh, make haste!

Ya think?
(Nevo, Jan 23) And the Melchizedek Priesthood may not have been restored until the summer of 1830, several months after the organization of the Church.

I vacillate between his behavior representing some sort of genuine pathology and its being, instead, merely rather theatrical pretense.

I still lean very strongly toward the latter. But sometimes, I admit, I have Doubts.

Scratch's consistency is compelling.

Here is what I don't understand:

Gadianton makes a "joke" about FARMS and tax evasion. Skippy, who is a lawyer, proceeds to tell DCP that this is a very serious matter, and that it could be legally "actionable."

DCP states that the thought of me makes him wish that he had his "assault rifle" on hand (and later, The Nehor states that he would like to do all sorts of gruesome and horrible things to myself and my family), and, when I ask Skippy if this is "actionable," she goes silent.

What does this mean?

Meanwhile, Gad initiates an "apology" thread, essentially diffusing whatever tension there was. DCP, on the other hand, continues to insist that I suffer from "pathology," and continues to tell me to seek "professional help."

Is there anything wrong with this picture?
