Maybe Boyd Packer had a point about some truths.

He probably thought his cover was blown. Later on he remembered he was not undercover at the time. Or, it could be like Dick Cheney, who cannot help looking evil and conniving.

I think you're probably talking about Maren Reynolds, Juliann's daughter.

Without your creepy anonymous "informants," could you function?

Hmm. I don't know. Perhaps not. Frankly, these days, they do the bulk of the "work".

Mister Scratch wrote:Kerry sums up the entire conference when he jubilantly exclaims, "This is ridiculous!"

Master Scartch presumably wasn't there.

Yes, but luckily for all of us, Kerry filmed it!

Not to worry, though. Just as with his repeated pronouncements concerning Skinny-L,

a small private to which he has no access,

Well, no. I would have to very humbly state that, indeed, the "private" to which I have access is not "small." Frankly, I have no desire whatsoever to obtain access to the "small private" which apparently has something to do with the "skinny list." Does that explain the list's name, I wonder?

Agreed. And the constant references to Bill Hamblin were not shameless plugs - apparently the original purpose of the video was per Bill's request so he could see the goings-on. Makes sense to me.

I'm afraid I'm going to have to disagree with this. It would be one thing if Kerry simply said, "This video is for Bill! Say hello to Bill!" But that's not what he did. Instead, virtually every mention of Hamblin was accompanied with, "He's at Oxford right now." Or, "Did you know he's at Oxford?" Indeed, when you step back and think about this for a moment, it seems downright....odd. Why, if this video was meant for Prof. Hamblin, would Prof. Hamblin himself need to be told repeatedly that he, Bill Hamblin, is at Oxford---a fact that would have been plainly obvious to him? Or, is B. Hamblin so utterly vain that he ordered K. Shirts to announce his Oxford location repeatedly, so that everyone would know how fancy he was?

I'm sorry, Skippy, but I don't think the endless name-dropping makes very much "sense" at all.

With that being said, short sleeve shirts with ties should be declared illegal immediately, with severe consequences to those who violate the ban.

I agree wholeheartedly with this. Although it did make the video(s) more entertaining, in a sense.

Actually, Bill not being able to make it was kind of unfortunate for people who would have liked to see him. Still, he was able to participate somewhat in the live blogging Bryce Haymond provided on his blog, and he was also able to do some webcam conferencing as well. Kerry was well aware of it, and from what I saw, enjoyed joking about Bill being at Oxford, usually when filming.

What I am saying is that people who understand the situation better can usually see through your insults and theories very quickly, and you must know that, so I'm not convinced you are really directing your comments to those truly involved, but to the peripheral lackeys, and the "informants" who feel rewarded by seeing their "work" on display through their friend.

Some might prefer to construct large theories and explanations about seemingly random or harmless or relatively meaningless behavior between friends. By doing so anyone can easily transform the most mundane things into the most sinister or depraved acts.

For example: There is a person on a message board. They spend their time exuding bitter hatred, conspiracy theories, and dispensing insults, all while decrying anything near that same behavior in others. We could suppose this anonymous person has some sort of mental disorder. We could construct an entire theory about the abuse this person must have received at the hands of others, causing them to lash out in hate. We could make theories that the person is really putting us all on; that the person hopes to see good in others who dare to disagree with the shameful things posted. We could formulate all kinds of nonsense about why someone would act like a middle school bully when they are presumably an adult.

Such an exercise could be relatively futile, because all we see is what the anonymous person does online behind a mask. The person enjoys this anonymity which acts to disinhibit. Anything goes, really.

Maybe your mother really loves you, Scratch, and you really love her. Maybe you bought her a Mother's Day gift. Maybe flowers. I think that would be nice to know that you love someone and that someone really loves you too, but even then I would still wonder what would cause you to try to hurt other people so often. I can only imagine.

This must be one of the ugliest threads you've managed to create.

I don't understand the personal contempt, either. From what I could see, it was just a bunch of good people enjoying each other's company. I suppose if you want to find something to pick at, you can.

I don't know what the "scoop" was either, information about all this was available on MADB, at FAIR, and on You Tube. Maybe some are a bit uncomfortable about Kerry doing all this so openly, and prefer their privacy. In view of some of the comments here, that's understandable. Seeing real faces attached to real names has been most enjoyable, and brings a more human touch to people we only know as names and words on screens. There should be more of it.

In anybody else's case, I would assume that he or she was joking.

In your case, though, given your lengthy history of obsessive personal malice, I can't be sure.
