The lack of speaking out against moral outrage is unforgivable in religious leadership, Mormon and otherwise.
The resumption of the Iraq war was moral and justified. GBH essentially put his stamp of approval on it during his Christmas address just before operations were renewed. He also had a Conference address on the same, also putting his stamp of approval on it.
So it's quite obvious to me that he did speak out against moral outrages such and tyranny and terrorism and by extension, liberalism.
