Questions about the book's content are also covered in the OP, but somewhere along the line it was narrowed down to "content only". When those who hadn't read it started commenting on content. I tried to avoid that, and rather than making assumptions, I asked those who had read it for their opinions of certain things in the book. But at a point I felt it almost illegimate to make any comment unless it was to do with content.
Maybe those who have been discussing the content could ask Liz or Shades to move that discussionn to another thread.
(Nevo, Jan 23) And the Melchizedek Priesthood may not have been restored until the summer of 1830, several months after the organization of the Church.

Well I certainly defer to either .. Shades? Liz?
God has the right to create and to destroy, to make like and to kill. He can delegate this authority if he wishes to. I know that can be scary. Deal with it. Nehor.. Nov 08, 2010

OK...I admit it. I am far too lazy to split a 55 page thread with close to 1100 posts. To try to go through and review the pertinent content you are looking for would take hours of my time that I really don't have...and even then, I doubt I would be able to effectively include everything that you guys would want included.
I suggest spearheading a new thread. Participants can take some ownership and copy/paste their own pertinent comments from this thread to the new one if need be.
I will temporarily pin this thread for easy access.
Asking mods to split off this thread is truly asking too much. They'd have to carefully read all 1,087 posts in order to select those that are topical and check 'em off to make the split.
Failure is not falling down but refusing to get up.

Boaz truly is a god to have created such a thread!
All hail Boaz!
I say we have it bronzed and placed in the trophy case.
