All hail Boaz!
I say we have it bronzed and placed in the trophy case.
I take it you are a very close and dear friend of Boaz. It's nice to see one friend supporting another.
Oh yes, he is the greatest man that I know and he thinks I kick ass too. Polygamy Porter loves both of us as well as we do he and the beer which bears his name!
All three of us think that you are cool, bcspace is an idiot, and DCP is a tool.

To try to go through and review the pertinent content you are looking for would take hours of my time that I really don't have...and even then, I doubt I would be able to effectively include everything that you guys would want included.
I suggest spearheading a new thread. Participants can take some ownership and copy/paste their own pertinent comments from this thread to the new one if need be.
I will temporarily pin this thread for easy access.
Just delete all of mine and DCP's posts. That would get rid of about 1 tenth of one percent and about 35%, respectively.
None of these posts have any real content or relate to the OP.
I think it would be morally right to lie about your religion to edit the article favorably. bcspace
Asking mods to split off this thread is truly asking too much. They'd have to carefully read all 1,087 posts in order to select those that are topical and check 'em off to make the split.
with a couple of exceptions (Trevor and Chris) I think most of the content posts, as opposed to the process posts, have been in the last couple or three pages.
No problem. It was just a suggestion.
(Nevo, Jan 23) And the Melchizedek Priesthood may not have been restored until the summer of 1830, several months after the organization of the Church.
I may hold off starting a new thread, – although someone else is welcome to and I may comment as desired.
Frankly there is not that much new to talk about. The tone of the book decidedly apologetic which should not surprise anyone. One of the authors said that they left no stone unturned. That maybe true if the stones referred to are part of a path designed to lead the blame away from Brigham Young and Geo. A. Smith.
For those who are cheering the new glasnost of the LDS leaders and LDS history, they probably have never read Bagley’s book which has far more detail even if you don’t agree with his conclusions. Massacre and Mountain Meadows was in response to a need to counter Bagley’s book so they – the authors had to dish dirt. In this case the most of the dirt was thrown upon the Southern Utah militia who were ordered to do this all the while tip toeing around any direct involvement by Young and Smith.
If you are interested in the topic and want blow $20 on Amazon and an afternoon reading – its only about 220 pages of narrative go buy the book.
God has the right to create and to destroy, to make like and to kill. He can delegate this authority if he wishes to. I know that can be scary. Deal with it. Nehor.. Nov 08, 2010
I intend on starting a new thread when I read the book, but considering that Amazon still hasn't shipped it yet, and has until Sep't 17 to do so, I doubt it will be within a week. I want to read the book and compare it to Bagley's.
We hate to seem like we don’t trust every nut with a story, but there’s evidence we can point to, and dance while shouting taunting phrases.

If you're planning on starting a thread within the next couple of weeks, I'll keep this thread pinned, if that will make it easier for folks to pull information from. I don't have any problem doing that.
I'd make a bet this thread has more words than the book does at this point.

Just an update for the curious - amazon just sent me an email informing me that the order is delayed. It will still be another week or two. I promise to start a new thread on it as soon as I read it and compare it to Bagley.
