Good grief. The whole thread is a joke... it's supposed to be funny. And I think it succeeds.

As an aside, I had a political analyst tell me a few years ago that if I decided to run for public office, he wanted to be my campaign manager. And I'm not even a professor!
(Nevo, Jan 23) And the Melchizedek Priesthood may not have been restored until the summer of 1830, several months after the organization of the Church.

Scartch, I've described you several times as an obsessive, grimly humorless, and malevolent loon who has a bizarre personal grudge against me.

Thanks for your comment here.

I can just see Dan doing his best Nixon impersonation, saying, "I am not a crock..."

At last we have found something we completely agree on.
“I was hooked from the start,” Snoop Dogg said. “We talked about the purpose of life, played Mousetrap, and ate brownies. The kids thought it was off the hook, for real.”

I find just about everything Scratch writes to be side-splittingly hilarious. How people miss this is beyond me!

Scratch squeals like a cut, angry pig

Holy smokes. Wow. I am just blown away by the arrogance of this. "At least one friend"? Tell me, Dan: do you have any "friends" who possess traits other than obsequiousness? Scratch then desperately tried to cover up his obvious lack of wit, humor, intelligence, and humanity with this inanity

What, you didn't think my post was funny?

None of us did, since that has never been your intention to enjoy some good spirited humor with some fellow human beings. All you are is vicious, and you come across as a clown even that way... Thank God you are not in my Ward, I'd have to apostatize. Or else drop kick your sorry scrawny butt across the church parking lot a bit. I still doubt it could knock sense into you. That would be like giving a rock an I.Q.

Are you suggesting that Scartch is actually a hypersubtle satirist -- even more cunning than Gadianton?

You may be right. I confess that I hadn't thought of that possibility. It would account for a lot.

(If I conclude that you're right, I'm going to feel so silly . . . )

Well there are intentional jokes, and then...

But seriously, the late Andy Kaufman has come to my mind on more than one occasion, first in relation to Scratch, and then in the case of Gadianton.
“I was hooked from the start,” Snoop Dogg said. “We talked about the purpose of life, played Mousetrap, and ate brownies. The kids thought it was off the hook, for real.”
