If that's the Don Lind (future Berkeley Ph.D. in astrophysics and NASA shuttle astronaut and post-retirement LDS public affairs missionary in London) and if that's the Stephen Covey (future bestselling business author and highly-paid consultant and Mormon mission president in Ireland) -- and the guys in the photo look like plausible candidates to be related to the older Lind and Covey -- the evil Mopologetic enforcer Louis Midgley was keeping fairly good company before he went off to get his Ph.D. back east.

You neglected to mention that (1) Covey received an MBA from Harvard and a Doctorate of Religious Education from BYU; (2) and Lind performed post-doctoral study at the Geophysical Institute, University of Alaska, in 1975-1976.
