Jason will run Brigham Young through the mud here in these boards, yet SUPPORTS the legacy of that man by promoting and patronizing the school named after him.

I guess Jason does not know how to stand for something....[

Wow PP on my case again huh. Guess you lack any substance to add here so you make personal attacks.

Let's correct a few things here.

One I do not know where I promote BYU. Can you demonstrate where I do so? If not shut the hell up.

Two, will now promote BYU. It is a decent school where values I want my kids to live are espoused. They can go there for a reasonable price, get a good education, have a decent social life and so on.

I do not have to worship BY or even like some of what he did to send my kids there. I graduated from a school that bears the name of a Catholic saint that I don't buy into all the things about him either. BFD man.

So kiss off jerk and get off my case toilet face.

Really, PP, this is getting old.

Can you come up with something original, or are you now going to consistently resort to Hammer's level on MAD and throw out ad hom's when you can't think of anything else to say? Funny. Even the straight-laced MAD Mods got tired of Hammer's behavior and booted him.

Thank your lucky stars we don't run Shades' board that way, or you would have been history a long time ago.

I credited you with being more intelligent than this, Porter. Let's see if you actually have the balls to argue issues for once.

Yeah, it's a sad, even an abominable, story.

But, on the other hand, I wonder whether any man who actually buys into the "I am his proxy, and therefore she is my property" argument pretty much deserves whatever he gets.

I mean, COME ON!!
"Finally, for your rather strange idea that miracles are somehow linked to the amount of gay sexual gratification that is taking place would require that primitive Christianity was launched by gay sex, would it not?"

Let's think this through...Jason would patronize BYU so that means he's supporting the legacy of Brigham Young and that means he doesn't know how to "stand for something".

I suppose standing for higher education doesn't count.

Having said that, when you need a flu shot, do you ask the doctor/nurse/PA/Vet for their religious affiliation so you're not inadvertently supporting a church you disagree with or do you simply say "Stick a needle in my arm and make it quick." ?

When you need your car fixed, do you ask the mechanic for his/her religious affiliation so you don't get suckered into supporting a church you disagree with or do you say "Hey, can ya fix that funny rubbing sound?"

When you need your hair cut, do you ask the barber/beautician/groomer for their religious affiliation so you're not throwing your hard earned money into their pockets only to have them throw it into a church or do you just say "Can ya get rid of the fleas while you're at it?"

Seriously. Unless you yourself refrain from patronizing business/retail/healthcare/educational professionals who are affiliated with organized religion then you have not a leg to stand on when you criticize Jason.

Just shut up.

Ah, sweet music, sweet Jersey music.

Incidently, I'll be in your neck of the woods in about 3 weeks. I'll let you know further details as I'm given them. Then I'm in Portland area a couple of weeks after that, then in San Jose. And I may be in Dallas in November and New Hampshire in April.

And I hate flying.

Ugh! Me, too!

If you end up in NC, however, give me a shout. ;)
