God has not seen fit to give any revelation on this point and I don't care enough to ask. :)

You asked in the thread regarding history of the Book of Mormon whether I thought all religious individuals were idiots. Yes Harmony I do. I think any individual who believes that a God takes a special interest in life on earth and interferes with it, in particular humans... is an idiot. I think the story of Jesus being sent by a God to earth to save mankind is idiotic. That the Book of Mormon is a story of ancient peoples written on metal plates and handed over to J.Smith by a ghost is idiotic. And anyone who believes such nonsense is an idiot, unless of course they are a child, or are handicapped by mental retardation. Many of the threads on this board are idiotic. Yours may have been set up as a joke, but I'm sure some people take such questions you posed here very seriously. I've got nothing against idiots, no more than I have against anyone with a physical or mental health issue. It seems that there is at least one glitch in the human brain, such that it doesn't appear to function very efficiently when it comes to the wishful thinking of supernatural religious belief. Religious people, don't seem to be able to separate out fantasy from the reality of their daily lives.

I know it's difficult, but try to stick with the subject of each individual thread. This one's about color, not finding a suitable name to call people who believe in something you don't believe in.

Thanks.

Great. The stigma of carrying the mark of Cain for eternity. Worthy, but marked. No judgement here, eh?

Only if the guy agrees that his black skin is as a result of a sin by a man eons prior to his birth... as opposed to thinking that his skin color is a result of his ancestors' exposure to the sun.

The former can carry shame; the latter carries no shame.

If God spent 130 earth years trying to get his stubborn male leaders to change a policy that impacted only the lives of his children on earth, then there is reason to assume the latter explanation is the correct one, and that there is no shame, no eternal effects from having a black skin.

In other words, Brigham was wrong, and God knows it, so skin color will not be an issue in the CK.

by the way, your answer about Cain echoed the answer of the man I was speaking with. He walked away rather than discuss it, and I wasn't about to pursue it, since I have to live with the guy... even when he's being not-so-sweet.

So you post on this board.....why? To make yourself feel superior to others?

I mean...this board was created to discuss a religion...Mormonism.

If you really think that everyone who believes in Mormonism, or any other religion, for that matter, is an idiot, why bother participating on a board which exclusively discusses it?

I'm not saying this in an attempt to disinvite you to participate. I'm honestly curious. I've posed the same question to Bob Crockett, who feels that all critics of the Church are idiots. ;)

All the resurrected people in the church videos and pictures are glowing white. So yes, we will all be white and glow.

Well, with evidence like that we should just all go home now. I mean, a few artist's renderings of the inexpressible have revealed the truth, what more is there to say?

We should ask BC if these paintings are considered doctrine? They are probably approved by the Qof12.

They're not doctrine. Nor is the red robe painting or any of the paintings of Jesus or Adam or Moses or Lehi (I really doubt he was a graybeard before he even left Jesusalem).

Well being white makes a lot more sense than being clear, Harmony. Clear is invisible. At least with white people one can imagine the people could see each other. In this fantasy world of yours, how are clear people to appreciate the existence of others? Will their skeleton's show, or perhaps they'll wear clothes and that way they can be seen? by the way in this world of yours, will people wear clothes? Will they have different outfits, what material will the outfits be made out of. Will people have a wardrobe of clothes to choose from or will they be given only one outfit and if so will everyone wear the same thing? Will the style of clothes change over time in heaven. What about hairstyles? Will people wear jewelery? What about transportation. Will people walk, drive, or just fly about? How are people going to spend their time if they don't have to cook, shop or do chores? Will books be available, computers, t.v.? I want you expert opinion on this Harmony, because you seem to know what God does and does not want as opposed to those stubborn male leaders God has been trying to get through to for the last 130 years.

More arrogant pontifications from the resident legend in her own mind.

Now I am sure you will call this a personal attack on you. Guess what oh might critical thinker you...you will be right. It is personal, just as personal as your rant above.
