God having a plan for them implys God has an individual plan for the 100 billion people who have lived on this earth..
God has the right to create and to destroy, to make like and to kill. He can delegate this authority if he wishes to. I know that can be scary. Deal with it.

OK, my computer kept locking on me, so I couldn't view the video. So, don't crawl up my ass for asking a simple question here.

Are we sure that the shot of the 2 year old happened the full 7 years after the husband died? In other words, could the shot not have been taken in 2002 or even early 2003? She would have been a widow, but feasibly, the child could be a toddler? Also, any mention of her being remarried?

Just throwing up some other logical possibilities here.

collegeterrace wrote:"Death Is Not Also a Bill of Divorce"

SURE ENOUGH! At the end of the clip the nauseous narrator announces that Tammy
was baptized in to the CoJCoLDS in March of 2001. NO MENTION of Kyle getting dunked, nor he being a member before and the two of them getting sealed.

I admit that watching this video was painful. "Kyle" seems a little put out in the video and I am sure they would have somehow tied him to Mormonism if he was a member. They only show his face for the first 17 seconds and then focus only on her. I really wish I could know what is running through Kyles mind as they were shooting this video.

If it is true that he is not a member and not a believer, Mormonism is damaging their relationship because she is now thinking he needs to be converted so they can be sealed. Otherwise there is going to be a "bill of divorce" and she will be given to another who is a worthy priesthood holder in the life after.

Mormonism only fully works if both husband and wife have the same beliefs. How much heartache would it be to know that there is a good chance that you will not be with the one you love because they can't force themselves to have the same belief.

The whole sealing thing really never made any sense to me and the Bible does not push it as a thing you have to do so you can be with your loved ones again. In some places it actually discourages it.

I'm curious. Which scripture are you specifically thinking of?

1 Corinthians 7

Paul in 1 Corinthians 7:7-8 NASB wrote:Yet I wish that all men were even as I myself am However, each man has his own gift from God, one in this manner, and another in that.

But I say to the unmarried and to widows that it is good for them if they remain even as I.

As I understand it, Paul was not married and was telling others that it is not good to touch a Man/Woman or to be married but that if you can't control yourself, to go a head and get married because that was better than to commit sin.

You would think that Paul would not teach this if Marriage was one of the requirements to live with God again like LDS Prophets teach.

=== Edited to Add =====

This scripture explains why Paul said it is better not to marry.

Paul in 1 Corinthians 7:32-33 NASB wrote:But I want you to be free from concern. One who is unmarried is concerned about the things of the Lord, how he may please the Lord;

but one who is married is concerned about the things of the world, how he may please his wife,

Paul is saying that those who are unmarried can give more time and service to the Lord doing his work. Maybe this is the reason why priests and nuns don't marry in the Catholic Church. Of course some of them can't handle it and leads them to do all kinds of nasty stuff to satisfy their sexual desires.

I am calling B***S*** on this one. She is a paid actress.

Her on screen persona is waay too predictable and scripted.

Sounds like the typical anti and disgruntled ex Mormon.

No, she's definitely a Mormon.

Yeah well God is God. Have you ever realised the enormity of this universe and we know so little, yet their is so much to learn we as individuals can never learn the little that is known to man thus far. God knows everything, far greater than we could comprehend. Then why would it be so wrong that he had a plan for each of us? Did you not think that he would have had a plan for the creatures on Earth and the stars and planets and that everything in existence and non-existence was part of the plan(s)?
