Indeed, one is not necessarily talented in both areas.

Still, I think the overall evidence that we at Scratch Watch have is against this particular theory, which is, nevertheless, fun.

In the spirit of discussing Scratch I'm not going to let a thing like evidence stand in the way of a good accusation.

In fact, could it not be that he is masking his writing style or having someone else ghost-write his thoughts there to prevent anyone from suspecting that it is him. His own words condemn him when he talks of his web of informants. Why wouldn't one of them write for him if they support him so? In the end, no matter what evidence accrues, this can only reflect badly on him.

One is left to wonder why he has not come to this thread to refute the accusation. Surely he can provide evidence that this is not him.....the fact that he has not is another strike against him.

San Francisco's Catholic mayor against Prop 8:

But Newsom is no stranger to defiance of Church teachings or to thumbing his nose at prelates. It was Newsom who provoked a constitutional crisis in 2004 by granting marriage licenses to 4,000 same-sex couples in a case that eventually led to the May 15 California Supreme Court decision upholding same-sex marriages. Proposition 8 would undo that 4-3 ruling by amending the state constitution.

In 2006, the divorced San Francisco mayor, who describes himself as a “lifelong Catholic,” abruptly cancelled a trip to Rome for the installation of former San Francisco Archbishop William Levada as head of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith. Newsom said at the time that he decided to boycott Levada’s installation in protest over the Church’s prohibition on homosexuals adopting children.

CATHOLICS SHOULD VOTE "NO" ON CALIFORNIA'S PROPOSITION 8

Hold your breath and wait for the mass excommunications.

You mean I trust that they had the revelation they said they had rather then follow a crazy string of evidences about BYU sports and somehow figure that the Apostles were so worried about it that they caved? Then I am delusional.

He's going about it the wrong way. What he needs to do is preach to right-wing corporate Christendom generally, and once they are convinced, the Church will "get a revelation" on their own and catch up with the times.

And then the More Good Foundation will put up another website with statements purported to be from same-sex partners who are grateful for the prophet's guiding lights.
Lou Midgley 08/20/2020: "...meat wad," and "cockroach" are pithy descriptions of human beings used by gemli? They were not fashioned by Professor Peterson.

LM 11/23/2018: one can explain away the soul of human beings...as...a Meat Unit, to use Professor Peterson's clever derogatory description of gemli's ideology.

LOL! You are spot-on! See? That's why you know this guy isn't Scratch. That would have been his approach. ;)

You just don't see it do you Liz? Why have only one base covered when you can have two personas to cover both approaches. Just as we know apologists are two-faced and act like 'chapel' Mormons on Sundays but change their tune completely when they get on the Internet why would Scratch not try for both angles?

No Liz, I'm afraid Scratch is just being secretive. After the smear campaigns of Nehor, DCP, the SCMC, and the Daughter of the American Revolution I have learned there is nothing he will not say to maintain this charade. One of my informants told me that Flatlander gets paid for his website. Why, he might make thousands or even millions off of it. Wouldn't the guilty conscience of Scratch show through him accusing DCP of doing the same thing.

No, I'm afraid Scratch has a lot to answer for here. We can only hope he will apologize for this deception and come clean.

I second that motion!

The worst kind of apostasy is the apostasy of insubordination.

Absolutely. He should have shut up and followed the orders he was given. Now he shall driven out despite his lamentations. These dissidents must be dealt with in a proper manner.
