Doctrine or personal opinion?
I think it would be morally right to lie about your religion to edit the article favorably. bcspace
7 Do you support, affiliate with, or agree with any group or individual whose teachings or practices are contrary to or oppose those accepted by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints?

If you take this that broadly you can't be a Republican either.

I love how Mormons are always trumpeting that they are NOT mindless robots, but as soon as you have a thought that is different than what the Brethren have told you to think, you are apostate.
How is it robotic to identify one who does not accept and/or live the doctrine as an apostate?

While I am not a Republican, might I ask what Republican position is contrary to a position of the Church?

“I was hooked from the start,” Snoop Dogg said. “We talked about the purpose of life, played Mousetrap, and ate brownies. The kids thought it was off the hook, for real.”
Well, we already are that way. We disallow marriage between siblings. We legislate what is or isn't a morally justifiable lifestyle (decency laws). Why, we even have places banning certain foodproducts (hydrogenated oils, If I recall correctly).
As well as disallowing polygamous marriages. Such laws as this were used against the LDS Church in a time when it challaneged the traditional standards of marriage.
I don't blame gays for fighting for what they want. I just don't find this site very compelling.
And who, exactly, will define what is moral and what is not?
How about God through the prophets and apostles?
What if someone who claimed to be a prophet said that it was of God that gays should marry?

No right wing conservative reactionary can answer that question truthfully with a no either.
No Church member that hold the view you espouse above can answer the question about sustaining the FP who declare politically neutrality as a fundamental principle of the Church and even doctrine based on your definition with a no.
