How about you comment on that, GoodK??

OK.

Instead of taking Dart to task for creating this thread, why don't you take a gander at what antishock has done here and comment on THAT, GoodK?

Well, I could do that too, I guess. Antishock hasn't created thread after thread about Sarah Palin. I mean this obsession with Sarah Palin is concerning. I'd be very surprised if he has commented on anything except Miss Palin since August 29.

You wanna see ugly? Check out antishock's position that people who live in underdeveloped countries should be sterilized

I saw this from antishock when I originally posted:

if the family wants to live a lifetime of challenge with a retarded life, then it's its choice. More power to them. However, if they don't, who are we to judge them? Kind of assholesish if you ask me.

I don't find it particularly objectionable.

and their children KILLED, but not before we take a PHOTO of the children, instead of feeding them!

I doubt he meant that.

But if you'd like my official opinion on that - I don't believe in killing poor starving children. Or forced sterilization. Or killing mentally handicapped children. That is absurd.

You see, that's his response to the "myth" that believers subscribe to.

???

What myth? The whole Christianity thing?

These are lies:

antishock8 wrote:Oh. Look at that. I responded to New Jersey Girl on the self-congratulatory exmo-social thread. Ok. Thank you for the reminder. Goes to show you how memorable New Jersey Girl is to someone like me... Not.

Let's review the sequence of events since New Jersey Girl's Valtrex isn't kicking in yet, and she's clearly fussy.

1) Dart asked Atheists if it's wrong to keep a baby with Downs Syndrome. I respond with something to the effect, "If it floats your boat, go for it."

2) Then religionists started to post something to the effect, "Atheists are evil devils who are evil. And devils."

3) I responded with a picture of a vulture getting ready to peck a little girl to death. My position is an all-knowing god can't help but know what it creates and what the ultimate fate of its creations are. Therefore that god is evil and the Devil. Not the Atheists who simply want to prevent MORE sum-total human misery from happening through birth control and abortion.

4) Religionists respond with, "You're evil, and the Devil."

5) Thread was pretty much dead, and then...

6) New Jersey Girl jumps in with, "YOU'RE EVIL, AND THE DEVIL, AND YOU'RE STUPID, TOO!! NA NA NA NA!!!" Oh, and she starts with the fat talk. Sweet.

7) I respond thoughtfully, and tell her that she needs to check herself befo' she wrecks herself.

8) New Jersey Girl, still completely missing the point, and unable to discuss the issue, responds with, "You're still the Devil and you're even more stupid than before and I'm still, like, way totally more smarter than you." Harmony joins in and says, "Yeah!"

9) I respond, who is this crazy bitch?

10) Apparently I'm chauvinist, and Crazy Bitch finds one response (maybe there's more?) I made to her on the exmo-social thread. NJG not understanding that she's making my point, which is, that she's so forgettable I actually forgot having interacted with her. My bad.

------------------

So, is this what she does? Does she ever engage the topic rather than mostly resorting to ad hom? I don't really care, but since she made herself known to me I'm interested in knowing what her deal is. Regardless, it still doesn't change the points that have been made, and she refuses to address:

1) God knows all, and is all-powerful.

2) God creates.

3) His creations do what they're designed to do.

4) Who is ultimately responsible under that paradigm?

My contention is Man, for the believer, is simply doing what it is supposed to do under those circumstances. Therefore it's God, and the Believer who implements His desires, who continue the miserable state of existence for billions.

What a shame. It doesn't have to be that way, and for someone like New Jersey Girl to prostitute herself to those notions in order to feel comfortable with the reality of her existence is offensive. It's extremely offensive that she defends a system that begets misery, when we have the actual ability to stop it.

What a shocker. Thunder Thighs waltzes in with nothing to say. Meanwhile, in the real world, people who follow her plan of unrestricted breeding are reaping their earthly rewards:

http://www.cnn.com/2008/WORLD/africa/09 ... index.html

At least 52 Somalis died when the boat smuggling them across the Gulf of Aden to Yemen broke down, and they were left adrift with no food or water for 18 days, U.N. officials said Sunday.

...Survivors of the ordeal said they left Somalia because of drought, unemployment and other insecurity in the war-torn nation. Each passenger paid the smugglers between $70 and $100 for the voyage, the UNHCR said.

...

So far this year, at least 31,192 people have arrived in Yemen aboard smugglers' boats, according to the UNHCR. More than 228 Somalis and Ethiopians have died, and 262 are missing.

I guess all those "feeding centers" that New Jersey Girl, who got up off her fat ass and created, just weren't meeting the high demand of fertile women and their offspring. Sorry to hear about that New Jersey Girl. Maybe, just maybe, more believers like yourself will open up feeding centers, too. You know. Because you think it's stupid to sterilize abjectly poor women and provide abortions because, well, starvation ain't all that bad (not that you would know).
