Do you think Joey has read even one book by Sorenson?
One moment in annihilation's waste,
one moment, of the well of life to taste-
The stars are setting and the caravan
starts for the dawn of nothing; Oh, make haste!

I have no clue. I have no idea who Joey is in real life. I don't have any reason to believe he hasn't read at least one book.

I, on the other hand, have read at least one Sorenson book. I have met him and been in his home. I thought he was a good, humble man. I was very impressed.

Oh, no reason. Just that it means the Book of Mormon is true, Jesus Christ is the sole savior of humanity, and Joseph Smith Jr. translated an ancient record of Jew-indians via rock and top hat.

At the risk of derailing this thread (I'll try not to reply again to GoodK)...

GoodK,

As I stated in a previous post, some of us have known eachother online for several years. Your comment above is proof positive that you don't know the person you're attempting to mock.

You simply mocked on the only knowledge that you have. That he's an LDS hobbyist apologist.

It's the same thing when people reply to me by mocking New Jersey.

Let me mirror what Kerry has written in terms of your assumption.

If I reply to you : "Youtalkin' to me, GoodK?"

Do you think that means I'm not intelligent and do not have a professional career that spans the course of 20+ years, am not seen and accesssed as a valuable reference/resource in my field as a mentor, facilitator of and guest lecturer for college classes?

Would you like to discuss the characteristics of primary, secondary and tertiary reactions in early childhood? How about the intrusion of teratogens in the developing fetus? Would you like to go a few rounds with me regarding constructivist theory? How about a comparison between orphanges and child outcomes in Russia, Romania or China? Any interest in discussion Pigaet's stages of equilibrium and disequlibrium? How about a contrast and comparision regarding Piagetian and Vygotskian theory? The work of Froebel, Erickson, Bowlby, Montessori, oh, I dunno...Palmer Parker, Stuart Brown, Howard Gardner, Richard Louv with regards to child development and long term impact of inferior curriculum and approaches? How about Malaguzzi's Hundred Languages of Children and children's school at Reggio Emilia? Various forms of child documentation, their applications and effectiveness in preparing authentic developmental assessment?

See?

Yer mutha.

No.

I think you are severely underestimating my familiarity with the work of Brother Shirts. I don't need him to be on my Myspace Top 8 Friends list to justify my opinion.

When have you known me to randomly ridicule someone just because they are a Mopologetic hobbyist?

I have my reasons...

That he is well read, and far more well read than most or many posters on this board appears to have escaped your notice.

What I said is true.

I won't reply to you again here regarding this.

Good, I love the last word ;)

I am certainly not the only person that this has escaped.

I don't know how you expect to be taken seriously with a comment like that.

What I said is true.

It's not surprising to see that you are convinced of your own opinion, although it is surprising to see you take up the role of Brother Shirts MDB publicist.
