I find it unfortunate when anyone, in their arrogance, makes light of psychiatric medicine (I have sometimes done the same, unfortunately). Doing so helps perpetuate the social stigma against mental disorders and medicine in general.

Are you referring to psychiatric medicine when you ask about a pill?

Is there something inherently wrong about psychiatric medicine?

Do you know anyone who takes such medicine?

Are you implying that if someone disagrees with a position of yours, or points out an inconsistency, or is even insulting to you, that such a person must suffer from a psychiatric disorder?

Please let me know.

Your tithing dollars goes to people paid to scour the media for the least offensive matters, forwarding on to bishops and steak presidents to take punitive action on the recalcitrant offenders ..

I think it would be better to say that some of GOD's money goes to keeping track of people fighting against the Church or those striving to cash in on their membership in inappropriate ways. If he had just done a male calendar he would have had no problems. Instead he drags the Church into it to try to drum up publicity. Now he's paying for it. Seems fair to me.

Edit: I also find it hilarious that those who think Jesus is a fraud think I care about their musings of what he would have done when I talk to him daily. Like hearing someone who read something about your friend pointing out endlessly how much he hates what you're doing especially when he's never been reticient in telling me he disapproves of my actions before.

There are many people out in the real world touting LDS: food storage, dating websites, games, books, knickknacks, and a bazillion other things all trying to make a buck of the Church name. None are ex’d. - He was ex’d because of homophobic, narrow minded middle to old aged white men who did not like his calendar for what ever petty reason they could think of. - If it said Return Missionary the result would have been no different.

I also find it hilarious that someone who needs to rationalize the lack of evidence into believing in Jesus - must carry that rationalization even further to justify doing creepy things to preserve an image.

You see no difference between using the Church's name to endorse harmless junk and trying to sensualize people in the Church? This is like arguing that selling a Catholic prayerbook is the same thing as selling a sexy monks and nuns magazine. You're mad. Do you expect us NOT to keep some standards?

I doubt the Catholic church would care or feel threatened enough to excommunicate someone..
