Professor Midgley, as is his wont, goes well out of his way to attack others, here resorting to innuendo.

I am not a big Midgley fan. He is an intelligent guy, and on occasion I have read things by him that I genuinely enjoyed and was benefited by. I just don't particularly understand this need to confront anti-Mormons publicly in a way that makes him look bad. Of course, this is my opinion, but I think it is fair to say that it wasn't Grant Palmer who looked worse for Midgley's heckling at the book signing. It was Midgley who made himself look bad.

But it is not like I hate the guy or consider him an enemy. I just find him really puzzling.
