I haven't heard: Cinepro may have had to use disinfectant liberally for the next several months after that encounter, but, for my part, I thought it was fairly pleasant and was happy to meet him.

As I documented in the 6th post down in this thread, I was glad to escape with my life.

You're very lucky to have escaped from a Danite.

And you'd be wise never to forget that encounter. Or the next one could be . . . Well, just ask the Scartchmeister about my homicidal tendencies.

The main focus of my studio is Musical Theater. Our event that we are having on November 6th will include sketches and selections from "Spring Awakening", "Sweeney Todd", "West Side Story", and "The Last Five Years".

For anyone who is in the Greensboro area, I'll post a note in the Events Forum. Anyone from here would be more than welcome to attend.

My wife and I enjoy musical theater quite a bit, and we see a lot of it.

Just tonight, we attended a surprisingly good local community theater performance of Elton John and Tim Rice's Aïda -- the best perfomance of that musical, in fact, that I've seen. (I still prefer the opera, though.)

I enjoy opera as well. My brother is actually a professional opera singer. He has performed with the San Diego Opera Company, Arizona Opera Company, Ohio Light Opera Company, and Michael Ballum's Utah Festival Opera Company in Logan.

I teach both classical/operatic and musical theater techniques. It just happens that at the moment, the bulk of my students are primarily interested in Musical Theater.

Thanks to posters like "Wheat" and "Ghost of Rockwell", unfortunately, my opinion of Mormons is now at rock bottom (I thought they had more sense than angry exmos - bah) . I could say a lot more, but I'll restrain myself, for now. I might not be very nice if I let loose.

So hearken, "Wheat", you f*****g Moron.

Well, well, well!

I start reading a thraed about Sethbag meeting DCP, and this is what greets me half way down the first page!

Umm, Ray, what are you talking about? What were my transgressions? Does this all go back to when I suggested that you can’t seem to make up your mind about which side of the fence you want to be on? If so, I can’t understand it.

From what I have observed in my years of following Mormon-related message boards, you have been a *double-minded man*, to use the words of James. My first recollection is of you as a defender of the faith, including the Book of Mormon, if I recall correctly. Then you went hog wild to the other side. Then you bounced back again and started being somewhat of an apologist again. Now the pendulum has swung strongly back to the *anti* side of the question, at least in many ways.

So, in what way was my characterization of you off the mark? In what way(s) have I earned the title of *f*****g Moron?* (How eloquent, by the way.) And how does anything I have done reflect, by extension, on Mormons in genreal, such that you condemn them all on my account? (*… my opinion of Mormons is now at rock bottom…*)

As an apologist, you cut a somewhat tragic figure, but you at least came across as thoughtful and sincere. As an apostate, you’re beginning to blend in quite well with people like Polygamy Porter and Mercury, or whatever naems they go by lately.

It's a long, long road from the man you once were to the man you've now become.

Sad. Truly sad.

I want to express my sincere thanks to the Mormon Discussions message board for helping me to see and understand the true nature of apostasy.

This coming from the man that knows the joys of circle jerks and gookie cookies.

Way to go, Coach.

I thought people had finally abandoned that myth. Apparently not.

You are mistaken in your belief. Not that it makes any difference to any of you. All the same, you are mistaken. But believe what you'd like. I'm sure William would be offended that there are people that believe me to be him. He was much more impressive in his way of saying things than I could ever hope to be. I miss him.
