Simple. In the lower-left corner of everyone's post is their "Profile" button. Click on it.

Beneath their avatar you'll see a link titled "Add foe." Click the link and you'll never see that person's posts again, except when they're quoted by someone else who's not on your "foe" list.

("foe" = "ignore")

What if someone adds an administrator as a foe? Like I just did you?

Well, obama damn it! How about that. I just placed everyone on ignore, and now I'm finally at peace! No one to bother me any more. No one to make me mad. No one calling me names. No one disagreeing with me. This is awesome.

I think the whole world would be a better place if we just ignored each other. Turn off the tv. Turn down the radio. Don't click on that link. Block that number. Don't talk to that neighbor. They're not like me. They're not open-minded enough, tolerant enough, diverse enough... *ignore*

It's almost as if Droopy, Gazelam, Jason Bourne, Jersey Girl, JustMe, moksha, and The Nehor do not post here.

I love it. In geek terms it is a notch filter.

Porter,

You miss me, don't you. I know you love me.

There was no option for I don't have anyone on my ignore list and my experience at MDB really started to suck before the implementation of the ignore feature.

It finally became clear to me that I have no interest in yet another Scratch v. DCP thread or another collegeterrace v. whatever he's against thread. The front page has become rather lame. I know that free speech can be really lame, even if the ideal is noble.

This is representative of my impression of MDB as of today: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nQalRPQ8stI.

Since I preference the idea of MDB more than I preference my impression of the current state of MDB, I'll leave the participants with it--no hard feelings. But, I'm no longer interested, personally.

My inner eighth-grader really appreciated the fart-horn gesture, though. That was awesome.

MDB: in a word: boring.

I feel gypped. Why didn't I make it to cellegeterrace's list?
That's General Leo. He could be my friend if he weren't my enemy.

It won't work. Administrators' posts can never be hidden.

Because you are nice and not idiotic.

Thank goodness I still have the ability to ignore them. ;)
