Sounds self-defeating for Romney supporters. Palin would be useful against the inevitable run of a Huckabee-type person every time Romney runs.

Wouldn't bother me. It would work the other way around. Frankly, as a Mormon, Romney disappointed me in the primaries. I think he would've made a better President than McCain, but he, like many in the GOP, left the values that would have differentiated him enough from Obama or anyone the Democrats brought up to win the election. Plus Romney was unable or unwilling to translate LDS values into political ones.

Sarah Palin is not a serious contender now, but she could be if she makes the right choices. As for her intelligence, Judge Judy was right on the mark when she said that those who question her intelligence are themselves lacking in intelligence.

And we all know how seriously the world should take Judge Judy.
