The Nehor, did it work? Are you a moderator at MA&D now?

You should check the thread....So far I'm ahead in the polls but Cobra Commander might pull off a last-inning run on the polls and seize the position.

He could have started a post like, "What happens after the Rapture", but he's seldom even started serious posts, or for that matter, any posts at all, except his "bid" to be a moderator.

Nehor?

Nope, not in a state of flux. Still reading, praying, doing my Home Teaching, and teaching Gospel Doctrine. Still discussing the state of my soul in a non-parody manner with my close LDS friends. Still asking for visions, spiritual insights, and power to do God's will.

I will add that while I haven't considered leaving the Church since I came here I'd like to think that if I did it would be with a measure of distaste that I was following such persons as Merc, Gad, Antishock, Porter, and Scratch.

I think his choice of Skeletor was a sharp move. I like Mudcat as far as practical things goes, but nobody is as intimidating as Cobra Commander and Skeletor. Well, maybe Cthulhu, but he wasn't running this time.
That's General Leo. He could be my friend if he weren't my enemy.

The Nehor,

Why would you be "following" anyone? Growing up isn't an act of "following" anyone. The idea that you, or Mr. Peterson, or Loran would find me distasteful is as about as hurtful as Beastie finding a Republican distasteful. People who are abjectly devoted to a cult aren't the kind of people from which I would need affirmation.

I think you're an odd cat, frankly. I'm not sure why a homosexual would devote himself to an institution that hates him, but that's your cross to bear. You're simply a object lesson at this point for anyone worth saving from the cult. Not everyone can give up their investment in the Mormon cult. That's understandable. Just play your role, like I'll play mine, and hopefully we'll help some others out of a difficult situation. However that plays out.

Warm Regards,

Wade Englund

I don't know. His smarmy condescending presumption that he knows about my sexuality and his endless self-assurance about it put him pretty high on the scale.

To be blunt, WHY the HELL would I give you any ammunition against me? I think I talked about this on the past on this board. Feel free to hunt in the archives.
