Stop being jealous GoodK.

Don't you have a company to run or an Island to buy?

Why would a rich kid like yourself be so envious of the fact that some people over the course of many years, actually express appreciation for my participation?

Second of all, in the post you've gotten a chubby over he calls Democrats "anti-Americans" and talks about how he hopes the entire government fills with Democrats and fails so he can say, "Told ya so."

Learn to read for once...

It is anti-American to be against the President from day one, which is why I support Obama as my President. I hope for the best but prepare and even expect the worst. And in the end I don't want there to be any room for excuses, so it will be better to let the democrats pass the laws they wish and implement whatever policies they think will work. We'll see how well they do in four years, but I'm only a little optimistic.

GoodK, for the umpteenth time, I used to vote line Democrat. I simply thought John McCain was the better statesman, and that a woman as Veep was a great choice.

Again, with the hate. Why is it that the Left is so vile toward their perceived opponents? "An old dude with a jaw breaker in his mouth." Wow. Remember, it's the Left that voted for Iraq. It's the Left that created the FM/FM meltdown that led to this ridiculous bailout. There's a lot of blame to spread around, in addition to appropriately placing the blame on the Right, too.

It's kind of like the Prop 8, thing. It's one thing to boycott a business that got involved in politics; it's another thing to vandalize it. If you can't see or don't make the distinction, then you're an ideologue. Kevin, instead of posting hitpiece after hitpiece on Obama, has said "Let's see what he can do." That's seems pretty reasonable to me. That's a far cry from what I saw the Left do with President Bush. From day one the Left, and the media, was on a mission to destroy him. Now, the Left and the media is on a mission to deify President-Elect Obama. Chris Matthews actually said it's his mission to ensure Pres O succeeds. He actually said that.

Who's the journalist again?

My position is one of age and experience. I don't get caught up in the hype because I see what slavish devotion to a political figure does, whether he's on the Left or the Right. Respectful scrutiny of a political figure keeps them more or less in line. So. We'll see regarding Pres O. He's been handed a big plate of crap, thanks to Pres Bush, the Democrat Congress, and corporate America. I'm hopeful he'll make the right choices, just like I would be hopeful McCain would. He's making decent picks for his cabinet and advisors, with the exception of Sec of State. So we'll see.

Click on the "Profile" button underneath someone's post. Underneath their avatar (if they have one) is a link titled "Add foe." If you click that, then you won't be able to receive PMs from that person and their posts won't appear when you read threads.

Thanks Doc. Now i can have some idea (excuse:-) why I'm not getting the attention my ego craves. So much to know. So little knowledge needed to make it through...

GoodK question: What is the "chubby" you refered to in your post to A-8??

Trying to stay abreast times.

He's insinuating via a metaphor erection (hard-on, chubby, etc..), that I liked Dart's post so much that I was sexually aroused, ie, I really liked it.

edit: I suppose if I were like a few females here that got their feelings hurt I would use this as an excuse to leave the board, since GoodK made reference to a male sexual organ.

I thought he was referring to weight. I guess I read it too fast. Or maybe I'm just too sensitive to chubbiness.

Clean it up, GoodK. Or move it to the appropriate forum.

- Whenever a poet or preacher, chief or wizard spouts gibberish, the human race spends centuries deciphering the message. - Umberto Eco

Words are great. Another great synonym would be "semi."

As a readaholic, during reading in english language, I meet many new words.
I don't understand why, the books I read miss this type of words ...
