They should have potential converts take this quiz before they get baptized. I know there were some people who were baptized on my mission that probably wouldn't have gotten "LDS" above 50%.
Indeed. One of the biggest problems in the Church is baptizing those who are not prepared or committed.

I got 38% Scientology. Maybe it has to do with the social issues questions.
It's also interesting to notice how many "religions" fall above a certain threshold. Most of us secular humanist types have >60% agreement with 6 or 7 different types. Dr. Shades, Skippy and Sethbag are lower with just 5 or 6.
BCspace agrees with 12 groups at >60%.
Then we have CaliforniaKid with a whopping 17, including Scientology at 66%. How do you explain your result, CK? Maybe you should start a new religion with your hodgepoge of beliefs.
It probably was the social issues questions that got us... I answered each liberally except for the abortion question (which is probably why you have a slightly higher percentage that I do)
I do wonder how they manage to give anyone a 100% Scientology rating without a single question on Xenu, Thetans or the horrific evils of psychiatry. Even without those names, Scientology has a lot of beliefs that are very different than any Western or Eastern religious tradition, and I didn't see many answers that would accurately reflect that.
"My name is Ozymandias, king of kings: Look on my works, ye Mighty, and despair!" Nothing beside remains.
You just have to know how to answer the questions. There are a couple of groups of questions where it asks you about social issues pertaining to your religion. If you don't claim a religion, answer NA. That's why a lot of you atheists/agnostics have high percentages for various belief systems.
Here's mine:

You're right. I retook it, answering NA to all the social issues questions, as if I'm saying my religion has no input towards rightness/wrongness of homosexuality etc., and then I got pretty much the same thing as you. Now I feel so clean with all those organized cults ranking 0% on my list.
