Is Mr. Scratch bitter for DCP's remuneration for apoligia?
in my opinion, there are numerous statements from Scratch about this subject.
I suppose one could conclude that Scratch is trying to bring attention to the fact that Mopologists make money, despite contradictory statements.
One might also conclude with such a vendetta type focus on this subject, that perhaps Scratch holds some avarice/envy for the Mopologist "status quo".
just a thought.
Is Mr. Scratch genuine or jealous?

Mr Scratch has an agenda. We all do. He'll no doubt fill you in on his agenda, when he gets around to it.
(Nevo, Jan 23) And the Melchizedek Priesthood may not have been restored until the summer of 1830, several months after the organization of the Church.

You should probably refer to it as "apologetics". I know Wade recently used the word "apologia" trying to sound {moderator note: personal attacked edited out by harmony} but it's not really correct.

LOL! That there is, my friend.

I think this is, in fact, the case.

Mister Scratch is green with envy over the "good life" that apologists are able to afford due to their employ with the Church. He has openly admitted this.
Is Mr. Scratch genuine or jealous?
Probably a little of both.

Hi Harmony,
Thanks for all the "agenda" information.
RE: the "agenda" fill in from MS, well... that would be fine.
I really am more curios as to what 'your' thoughts might be in regards to the OP.
However, I shall make a note to place all this 'agenda' information, in my "agenda"

The only person who can accurately tell you what Scratch's agenda is, is Scratch. Others can only speculate.

I see the money discussion is also now on MAD. A poster by the moniker of "ttribe" wrote of Richard Abanes:

Be careful...Richard becomes very touchy when you start suggesting that there might be something wrong with attacking others' religious beliefs for a living.
To which "annewandering" replied:
so people actually make money doing that? wow what a strange profession. i figured it did it cuz he was bored being home with his disability.

Hi Ray.....
Your statement is so off topic, that I won't address it. But, if you want to start a "Mudcat, are an
EV who believes that the world was created in six 24-hour days?" thread, I'll put my two cents in.
Do you have any thoughts in regards to the OP?
Sincerely,
Mudcat

I think the jealousy issue is only peripheral. It's new to me. I certainly would not say this is Scratch's motivation. His really big issue has been almost entirely with the direction of apologetics, and how apologists deflect serious criticism through ad homs, and developing an "apologetic industry" which is financially supported through the Church/BYU and "rich donors".

Yes, Mudcat---that's correct. I found it incredibly hypocritical that Mopologists would publish attack pieces ("That Old Cash Nexus") against poorly funded Christian ministries, while, in fact, FARMS utilizes a multi-million dollar budget. Also, I didn't think it was right that DCP was equivocating about the fact that he has received money for apologetics.
One might also conclude with such a vendetta type focus on this subject, that perhaps Scratch holds some avarice/envy for the Mopologist "status quo".
Not sure what you mean by "status quo," but I do not like LDS apologetics at all. I think it is a rotten enterprise, through and through.
