Dr. Shades wrote:Give us a mild spoiler or two, harmony: What's the plot of the movie (was the "creamies" theme the main one or a side one), and what were those ever-so-brief warplane scenes about?
The movie is set in right after the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor. The main plot is who is going to control the contract to supply the army with beef in Australia, and the aftermath of that contract being awarded. The "creamy" thing is a subplot, but very tightly tied in with the main plot. The war planes play a big part.
There's some romance, an adventure or two or ten, lots of action, suspense... no swearing and no steamy sex. The scenery is amazing. It's rated PG.
I loved it. I hope I didn't spoil it for anyone.

I didn't realize this film was out. That's definitely on my "to do" list, along with seeing the new Bond film, which I haven't had time to do yet.
My Sweet Pickle didn't want to see the new James Bond, so I just walked him into this one. He really enjoyed it. He was cringing at a chickflick, so this one really blew him away.

Just watched the trailer, and I'm both an aircraft and war movie buff, so I'm going to have to make an effort to see this, maybe next Wednesday or Thursday (finish work on Wednesday morning).
My brother lives in the same neighbourhood where Nicole Kidman is in Sydney (when she's here), which is one of the most expensive suburbs in Sydney. This is the sort of view you get:
And if you've got a $million or two to spend you could buy this older style heritage home.

The Church has never apologized for MMM ..
God has the right to create and to destroy, to make like and to kill. He can delegate this authority if he wishes to. I know that can be scary. Deal with it. Nehor.. Nov 08, 2010

Sounds like this one is a movie my wife and I can see together and both enjoy. That is a rare thing.

Well, it's Friday night... Date Night! I'd love to hear what you think of it. And the documentation at the end of it.

The church takes no responsibility for MMM in that article, Daniel. They blame the local folks. So no... that's not an apology. That's a tap dance.
