Two Utahns Land on "The Real World"

There's not one person from Salt Lake City on the upcoming season of MTV's "The Real World" -- there's two.

And it certainly appears that Mormons -- and Mormons vs. non-Mormons -- is going to be a major issue on the 21st edition of the show, which premieres on Jan. 10.

According to MTV, 21-year-old Baya Voce-Hoffman was raised by hippie parents in Salt Lake City, where she felt like a fish out of water because of "growing up as a non-Mormon in a predominantly Mormon Salt Lake City society."

And Chet Cannon, 23, is a "punk rock Mormon" with a penchant for "tight jeans and affinity for neon clothing." A University of Utah frat boy, he's one of 10 children in a "devoted Mormon family" and "a strong conservative Republican."

I think we can see where this is going.

Oddly enough, both Voce-Hoffman and Cannon are graduates of East High

The show returns to New York City for the third time, although this time it's in Brooklyn, not Manhattan. This season, for the first time, there will be eight cast members instead of seven.

And MTV announced that "fans will have unprecedented access to the roommates" with "uncensored footage" at RealWorldDailies.com andlive video chats at IamOnMTV.com

I am sure they will both poorly represent both sides of the argument. Hippy chick will throw out bad arguments, "Punk rock" douchebag will poorly represent the "were christians", etc nauseous argument.
