One moment in annihilation's waste,
one moment, of the well of life to taste-

I wish I'd been able to attend. Mozart's Requiem is a favorite of mine.

Unfortunately, family obligations interfered.

Ironically, though, I found out that my parents-in-law attended on Friday night.

Cool. I thought it went well. Clearly the orchestra was larger than Mozart intended, and for that matter the chorus was as well. Still, I liked it that way, a nice change. The soloists, all 4, were spectacular. Usually there is at least one I don't care for, but this time all 4 were quite good.

Baritone/Bass.

When people ask you this in person and you respond, do you automatically respond in a lower voice?

I do.
