Surely he knows the Hallmark card version of Smith as spoon fed to him by Correlated Mormonism.

Tough subject for me.

Well harmony, it depends on how you define "know". I'm happy to walk down this path with you, just provide some parameters, or I can define the word as I used it. Just let me know.

Back to your post. Please to tell me which is the right History of Joseph Smith. Is it Fawn Brodie alone? Is it Richard Bushman alone? Is it Andrew Ehat alone? How about Dean Jessee, is he worthy? How about my beloved D. Michael Quinn? Or the Tanners?

Surely, you don't believe we should read all of these together in order to develop a broad and in-depth understanding of the best historical data and commentary available do you.

by the way? Did you get your first volume of the Joseph Smith Papers Project? [Mod Scottie: Personal attack deleted.]

Scottie,

I get the first personal attack being deleted. But the second one about the snape guys myopic view of Church History and the History of Joseph Smith was apropos and pertinent. I'd like him to respond to that. If only for the fact that he incorrectly assumed my knowledge of Joseph was limited to some hyperbolic statement about correlation.

Tsk Tsk Tsk,

Moderately Big UP! No pun intended. I forgot you were a mod here-- Oh great one! I should have saved that for Harmony. She likes her mod status stroked sometimes.
