Sunday School teacher? Deacon's quorum advisor? No... he's our newest High Councilman. (It's almost like they think there are no other men in the whole flippin' stake that are worthy to sit on the High Council.) Oh, and yes... he can trace his lineage as far back as church history goes and is extremely proud of it. He's not my favorite person; he's the one who wanted to excommunicate my son as an example to other youth in the stake for an unexcommunicatable offense. He was willing to sacrifice my son on the altar of his hubris, and the only thing that stopped him was my bishop at the time. Thank God for good bishops!
See #6!
Ah, you may have a point here. After all, my poor LDS pedigree landed me as primary chorister.

Have you been an Area Authority, Plate?
(Nevo, Jan 23) And the Melchizedek Priesthood may not have been restored until the summer of 1830, several months after the organization of the Church.

Self-proclaimed, of course!

No problem. I'm the true Queen of Scotland (and I've got the lineage to prove it), but I don't want all that responsibility.

Too bad; I'm still ratting you out.

If you want to see an example of a prophet living by the lamp of his own conceit, check out Pres Monson's comments about Joseph Smith on the Jesus Who thread.
Good grief.

Your musical ability landed you that calling. From a fellow primary pianist...welcome to your calling for many years to come.
*gulp*

How many of the Brethren are converts?
Yeah, that's what I thought.
Does Dieter Uchtdorf count?
Also, Bednar's father wasn't a member until he (the son) was in his late 20's. Elder Holland's father was a convert. Both had multi-generational LDS mothers though.
