I wonder where their information comes from?

I have relied on the same source the TAK gave. In addition anecdotal information confirms this. I ask returned missionaries about attendance where they served, I talk to people I know around the country. I talk to other members that I know in other countries ( only a few) and it seems that this stat is pretty accurate.

Interesting Stats. Wonder how they compare with other prostelytizing churches?
As to my previous question re cost-in-time-&-$s Missionary per retained-convert, I think that answer might be more an indicator of effectiveness than anything...

Having a Sales Force of 50,000+/_ in the field should command info-flow to those giving up lost opportunities--that to some may not be reversed. Admitted, the experience can be lawded, or lamented, by the RM. One size doesn't fit all... Corporate integrity then should call honesty to reveal to recruits real-time success/failures... Maybe they do???

Honestly, as a one-time, long-time TBM, I am surprised by the number of turned-off RMs. Wife & I were the only baptisms Our Missionary :-) had. I know he & wife remain as Senior Stalwarts in their Valley Stake & Ward... glad they're happy.

Warm regards to all,

Roger

Have you noticed what a beautiful day it is? Some can't...
