Re-read the thread, Blair. I explained this in an earlier post. (Darn! Even more poor reading comprehension!)

Oh my god. As if the angler himself has suddenly found ethical message board behavior! It's a miracle! Praise God!

Why are you so in love with DCP?

Why do you idolize him so much?

Do you think that he is more important than the prophet?

What is the purpose of your Mopologetics?

The purpose of the thread was to provide a forum for the nonsensical conspiratorial theories of a certain Mr. Scratch a.k.a. Kishkumen. Bush League.

The outcome is that there was no conspiracy except that I have discovered Life on a Plate is in fact *suspenseful music* Daniel C. Peterson! *loud gasp from the gallery* LOAP is nowhere to be found.

Big UP!

As I suspected. The thread was an utter failure and embarrassment.
One moment in annihilation's waste,
one moment, of the well of life to taste-
The stars are setting and the caravan
starts for the dawn of nothing; Oh, make haste!

I admit I have been impressed with Mister Scratch's civility throughout this heated and controversial topic and Maklelan's behavior has been troublesome, to say the least. On the one hand, to his credit, Mak does at times seem willing to be "reasonable" and drop the personal attacks, but it all does seem to be on his terms and he'll jump right back in at will with something harsh to say if he so chooses.

I had wondered at one point if I had been out of line and took a step back to review the situation. Interestingly, I received an anonymous note via the usual means. Now, I receive very few PMs, very few, and I found it unusual that this particular person would PM me. Let's just say, what was relayed to me has led me to believe that Scratch has been more than generous here, and that I am probably not in as much need of self-reflection as I thought that I might be, earlier.
Lou Midgley 08/20/2020: "...meat wad," and "cockroach" are pithy descriptions of human beings used by gemli? They were not fashioned by Professor Peterson.

LM 11/23/2018: one can explain away the soul of human beings...as...a Meat Unit, to use Professor Peterson's clever derogatory description of gemli's ideology.
