Very doubtful.
Incidentally, I couldn't tell you about selek, but I'm quite confident that Pahoran participates fully in the Church.

Re: Are most apologist EMOS
I think it's probably about half and half.
I think that there are some "armchair" apologists who may not attend Church every week, but who still feel the need to defend the LDS Church from critics. These "armchair" apologists can be made up of folks who may not be able to attend Church every week for health reasons, like Charity was, I believe, at one point (I'm not sure what her current health condition is now).
Dr. Peterson is a bishop, so it's pretty obvious that he attends Church meetings on a regular basis.
Bob Crockett is also a bishop, so, again, I would assume he attends Church meetings.
Gaz has indicated that he teaches Priesthood, so I think it's safe to say that he attends weekly.
Out of curiosity, why do you think that Selek and Pahoran don't attend meetings? Frankly, I assumed that they did.
Are you asking if apologists are more vocal in an Internet or electronic setting than they might be in public?

If your definition of "almost" allows you to say that "Mormons are almost Muslims", or "Jews are almost Baptists", then yes... I agree.

I can see why you might suspect that. They do seem very fake and insincere. I mean, really... who talks like that, or actually believes that which they profess? Come on!
God belief is for people who don't want to live life on the universe's terms.

One of the members of Jimmy Eat World went on an LDS mission, actually. I hadn't heard that any of them are Jews. Maybe the acronym of the band's name is confusing you?
